Brass inserts in round, hex and square configurations

Prime Industrial Components manufactures and exports brass inserts in three primary configurations: round knurled, hexagonal, and square. Each is produced from free-cutting brass per IS 319 Type I or BS 249 Type I — with high-grade or custom brass compositions available upon request.

Our brass inserts begin at M2 or equivalent threads and can be supplied up to any size as per custom designs. Standard knurling patterns include diamond, straight and unidirectional; both blind and through inserts are available.

Applications

Industries that use brass inserts

Brass inserts are specified across applications where a strong, reusable threaded mounting point is needed in a host material that can't reliably hold a thread on its own.

  • Instrumentation
  • Telecommunications
  • Electrical accessories
  • Electrical junction boxes
  • Plastic case assemblies
Quality Features

Engineered for retention

Prime brass inserts are designed with specific features that improve fastening performance over generic alternatives:

  • Deep Groove design — maximum pull-out resistance
  • Close-tolerance internal diameter — prevents flush entry
  • Go / No-Go thread inspection on every batch
  • Blind and through configurations
